Well, bike runs good now! Been fightin a carburetor problem. Drained the fuel bowl and bike runs like a champ. Today I went to the local Auto parts store and got a fuel filter. Took the tank off and checked/cleaned the petcock. Everything ok. Installed fuel filter. BTW, I have non-California model and plugged what looked like unused vacuum ports on both sides of the carb opposite of each other. Installed vacuum plugs.....hmmmmm.
Now bike won't start! Ended up backing everything off one step at a time. After removing the vacuum plugs, bike cranked right up! What's the deal? Anyone know what these ports are and why I can't block them off if they are not used? Guess I'll get some new fuel line and try to put the fuel filter back on.
